This Privacy Policy explains how Beach & Wne Co. ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information on vixpulse.asia and its subdomains (the "Service").

2. Information we collect

VIX Pulse currently provides no sign-up or login flow, and processes no payments. We handle only the following minimum data:

• Preferences— your selected language (English/Chinese) is stored in your browser's localStorage and is not sent to our servers.
• Server logs— our hosting provider Vercel records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and debugging, retained per its default policy.
• Account data— we currently do not collect any account data — there is no sign-up.

3. How we use your information

• To operate the Service and keep it running reliably.
• To maintain the security of the Service and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information to any third party, and we do not send marketing emails.

4. Third-party processors

To operate the Service we rely on the following external processors. Each handles data under its own policy:

• Vercel — website hosting and edge compute.
• GitHub — the project source is hosted publicly on GitHub.

5. Data retention

Because we do not collect account data, we have no user records to retain. Server access logs are retained by Vercel under its default policy.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law in your region (including but not limited to the GDPR, UK GDPR, California CCPA, Hong Kong PDPO, Taiwan PDPA), you have the following rights over your personal information:

• Access and obtain a copy
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Request deletion
• Object to or restrict processing
• Withdraw consent previously given
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

7. Security

We protect the Service through Vercel's platform-level controls and industry-standard TLS encryption in transit. No internet transmission is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and supervisory authorities as required by applicable law.

8. International data transfers

The Service is operated from Taiwan (R.O.C.). Vercel may store and serve content from edge nodes globally, subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the Service or provide us with any personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, for existing subscribers, notified by email.
